Gerald C. Gibbs

Gerald C. Gibbs, 79, of E. St. Louis, IL, born Saturday, September 12, 1931, in E. St. Louis, Illinois, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea.

Mr. Gibbs worked as a Toll Collector for Veteran's Bridge. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal Ribbon, United Nations Service Ribbon and Korean Service Ribbon with two engagement stars and China Service Medal.

He was preceded in death by his:

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
