Mary S. Fritsch

Mary S. Fritsch, nee Shaughnessy, 91, of Belleville, IL, born Sunday, May 19, 1918, in Milwaukee, WI, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Columbia Convalescent Center in Columbia IL.

Mrs. Fritsch received her undergraduate degree from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisc. and her Masters in social work from St. Louis University. She was a former member of Board of Catholic Charities Diocese of Belleville, Fleur de Lis Society of St. Louis University, and St. Clair County Medical Aux.

She is preceded in death by:

  • Parents: William F. and Esther M. nee Volz Shaughnessy

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:45am on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from the Kurrus Funeral Home for a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Clyde Grogan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery Belleville, IL
