Kenneth C. Koehler, 85, of Belleville, IL, born June 6, 1922 in Red Bud, IL, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Koehler retired in 1987after 20 years as a gas fitter for Illinois Power and was a US WWII Coast Guard veteran, Machinist's Mate First Class. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL, life member of VFW 1739, life member of Southside improvement, National AARP, American Legion #58, former member of Local #101 and former Alderman of Belleville for 25 years.

Funeral: A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral Home at 10:30am, Monday, May 12, 2008 for an 11:00am funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL with Pastor Gary Beyers officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
